August 18, 2018 at the Munn Wedding

When I first met Meghean and Amber, they were this adorable shy couple helping their friend pull together an adorable little backyard wedding. I snapped several shots of the young couple throughout the night as they helped put together bouquets, as Amber walked the aisle, and as they danced the night away. You could see the love they had for each other in the glances they shared and the respect they showed one another.

The Munn Wedding was beautiful, and I knew that day the Kennedy Wedding would be just as lovely if I were lucky enough to capture it.

October 19, 2019 for their Engagement Session.

I didn't have to wait too long for luck to catch up! Soon enough, they contacted to set up their engagement session! Both warned me that they were awkward in front of the camera, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. We hit it off right away, capturing some gorgeous shots right in my own yard before the day even truly started. I took the ladies to a local park to get some more nature-filled backdrops for them. The crisp Autumn leaves made a wonderful setting to capture the love between them.

June 26, 2021 for their Wedding.

The Kennedy Wedding was absolutely beautiful. From the custom Converse high-tops with their wedding date and sunflowers on them, to the lovingly hand-made macrame bouquet holders, handfasting cord, and wedding arch (all made by Amber and Meghean who own Knot Ur Mother's Macrame, link: https://linktr.ee/KnotYourMothers ), and even the rainbow in the sky after the tornado sirens and a heavy rainstorm! (Not-so-fun fact; there were SEVEN tornado touchdowns that day! But you know what they say about rain and weddings.)

Meghean and Amber both looked stunning as they celebrated a life together, now as a married couple, with their family and friends. Farrand Hall (link: https://www.farrandhall.com/ ) in Colon, Michigan provided a picturesque setting for the couple to tie the knot. I'm so honored that I had the opportunity to capture their big day.

They led to booking the Langeland wedding. Charlene was actually their wedding officiant.

Meghean then officiated for Charlene and Tyler on their big day on October 21, 2023 at R&R Weddings and Events in Vicksburg, Michigan. Amber was a bridesmaid as well.

April 12, 2024 for their Maternity Session

And now I have the privilege to share time with them on their journey through parenthood. We held Meghean's maternity session on April 12, 2024 where we took time to visit the same park their engagement session was held at. We also did a few photos in my studio, using the library and running a floral milk bath.

Their little girl met her Mamas on May 1st of 2024.

Though it's not something I do often; I will be so grateful to be their photographer when it's time to capture their first family portraits. I feel so fortunate that such a wonderful couple has come to trust me for their big moments, and it is my hope that all of their days are as wonderful as they are.
